This graph of housing stats shows a comparison from July 2016 to 2017, as well as the year to date comparison for the two years. The median year to date sales price for Asheville was $288,000, up 8.8% from last year. The days on the market is up only slightly from 61 days to 65. The July 2017 list to sale percentage was down from 96.4% in 2016 to 95.7%--meaning that sellers had to negotiate a bit more on their listing price to get the property sold. Prices are still rising as we continue with low inventory in the summer months.
